Benefits of membership

We are a registered charity founded in 1953, with a permanent office currently situated with all the other surgical sub-specialty associations, at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in London.聽 We have members in 73 countries around the world.
Education
六合彩资料 organises several courses a year for both trainees and established consultants, ranging from the National Trainees Days to subspecialty meetings such as Oncology, Trauma, Colorectal and Upper GI. Members receive discounted registration fees to all courses organised by 六合彩资料. In the case of Trainees Days, we offer complimentary registration for our members (terms and conditions apply).
We also provide educational courses overseas through our International Affairs Committee. More details can be found in the IAC section of the website.
Fellowships & Grants
六合彩资料 jointly funds a research fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In addition, we provide several travel grants. The Hugh Greenwood Travelling Fellowship is only open to 六合彩资料 members.
Research Collaborative Network
六合彩资料 supports national multicentre clinical trials and funds the Specialty Surgical Lead for Paediatric Surgery to help form research collaborations. 六合彩资料 welcomes proposals for projects from its members.
Surgery Resources
Every surgeons needs to maintain their continuing professional development. We maintain a calendar of courses and events of interest to members. Our Education Committee reviews courses on a regular basis before 六合彩资料 will endorse any event.
In addition, we highlight publications, research papers and other news items that are important to you.
Surgeon Directory
The Public Members Directory is regularly visited by members of the public. You can add referral details for your private practice, or your NHS practice to enable Parents and GPs to make referral decisions. Make your subspecialisations known.
Newsletters and updates
The Honorary Secretary edits our monthly newsletter which includes the latest jobs, educational opportunities, news, events and surveys.

Members Meetings
The Annual General Meeting is held during our Annual International Congress. An additional Members meeting is held to coincide with our Winter Meeting. All members are welcome to attend.
These meetings are your forum to debate and decide matters pertaining to our association and paediatric surgery, so we strongly encourage your participation. Papers are made available to our members via our website.

Clinical Outcomes and Audits
We provide the tools to support clinical outcome audits to our members. We have several audits running in conjunction with 六合彩资料-CASS, and in addition, members can participate in smaller audits and surveys. The National Outcome Audit of Hypospadias is run in conjunction with Dendrite.
Community
Members have the opportunity to contribute items and make comments on the website.
We aim to:
- Support paediatric surgeons in their professional practice
- Support the advancement, study, practice and research into paediatric surgery
- Maintain links with sub-specialist Associations and other groups within paediatric surgery
- Liaise with the surgical and Royal Colleges, the professions allied to medicine, other relevant professional bodies and Government.
- Foster professional relations with paediatric surgeons around the world.
